Universities play a strategic role in building fairer, more sustainable societies, especially through the Agricultural Sciences. A qualitative study based on a questionnaire answered by 16 Brazilian HEIs that are signatories of FOUP maps programmes, planning, partnerships and alignment with the SDGs: sustainable agriculture in 62% of institutional plans, culture of peace in 44% and strong adherence to SDG 2 — initiatives that still need to become permanent policies.

Peace in the 2030 Agenda

Nathália Jahn, Antonia Aparecida Deluca and Maria Cecília Kohler Panno

Peace and health are co-dependent pillars of sustainable development. The article reviews the concept of health, SDG 3 of the 2030 Agenda, national and international strategies and global indicators, and examines the obstacles — armed conflicts, inequalities and fragile health systems — that have put the world off track for 2030, pointing to health as a strategic component of sustainable peace.

The mental health of Nursing students is a growing concern: heavy course loads, social pressures and the devaluation of the profession raise rates of anxiety and depression. An exploratory literature review (May 2025) analysing these factors and pointing to institutional measures — outreach projects, academic leagues and well-being activities.
