It operates as a network of municipalities that share best practices and learn together how to build positive peace from the ground up.

These peace-friendly cities strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all citizens, regardless of origin, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. By joining the Cities for Peace network, municipalities commit to working together toward a more peaceful and sustainable world.
Objectives
- Builds partnerships between government, civil society, the private sector, and international organizations for integrated planning.
